Videofashion Designers - Julien Macdonald

Julien Macdonald – Welsh-born Julien Macdonald launched his namesake label in 1997 and immediately attracted the attention of glamorous women across the globe, including Beyoncé, Kylie Minogue, and Bianca Jagger. Initially, Macdonald found fame as a textile designer and was recruited to spin ethereal designs for the Chanel and Lagerfeld collections from 1996 to 1998, and was later appointed chief designer at Givenchy in Paris in 2001. The rightfully titled “King of Bling,” has since expanded beyond knits, controversially incorporating fur into his enchanting collections and injecting high-energy glitz into his wildly anticipated London Fashion Week shows.
